LEAP CARD
The Blaze device is fully equipped to read and process Leap cards, making it ideal for services where smart ticketing is a priority. With its built-in contactless reader, drivers or staff can quickly validate passenger journeys by simply tapping the Leap card on the device. This feature has been successfully implemented across Local Link services, where Blaze handhelds are used to let passengers board by tapping their Leap cards. The system records each transaction instantly and syncs with the back office, providing operators with accurate journey data while giving passengers a simple, cash-free way to travel.
CONTACTLESS EXPERIENCE
An external EMV reader is used to support payment collections via all channels and covers various mobile payments methods such as NFC Payment, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. All types of payment cards are accepted. Payment Service Providers can be configured on purchase. Payments and ticket validations done on one single device!

TICKET VALIDATION
Blaze integrates with Metric Mobility's Online Booking System to authenticate and scan tickets that are booked online. Tickets can also be purchased in the bus with an in-built printer used to issue the printed tickets off the device.
REAL TIME TRACKING
Real-time enables bus operators and passengers to track their respective bus location, arrival times and adherence to real-time schedules, which then helps improve the passenger experience and enhances bus management efficiency.
