Passengers hate nothing more than the delays caused by waiting for a bus that never comes. Buses using our proprietary software solution are tracked in real-time and every operator can observe their adherence to the schedule through their terminals or the back office.
FOLLOW YOUR FLEET
Our system captures and sends live GPS data from the Electronic Ticketing Machine (ETM) throughout each journey. Key real-time events monitored include:
- GPS Positioning: Continuous tracking of the vehicle's location.
- Arrival at Stop: Live updates when the vehicle reaches a designed stop.
- Departure from Stop: Notification when the vehicle leaves at stop.
- Stop Geo-fencing Data: Confirmation that vehicles enter or exit defined stop zones.
- System Updates: Communication between the ETM and back office during the trip.
REAL TIME MAPS
Our maps show the position of a bus in real-time along with detailed information such as the scheduled departure and arrival times vs actual departure and arrival times. There is a Journey Information section that complements the map and it provides general information about the route-start time of a trip, the last updated location and so on. It also displays the last boarding stage and stop on that particular route.
JOURNEY TRACKER FOR PASSENGERS
Real-Time Passenger Information is a part of the suite of services available to our clients who purchase real-time services from us.
Passengers will be able to search their route by stop, route or service. They can visit their respective bus operator's website using their laptop or mobile device and search for their particular journey. Information such as departure time from depot, number of stops along the way, estimated expected time to reach the next stop can be found here.
